Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
Oswald is another character from Nick Jr. who has been the "star" of several books. In this story, he has decided that it might be a good idea to gather his friends and decorate the big tree in the city park. Oswald is responsible for bring the star to put on top. He searches high and low but can't find his star ornament. When he decides to buy one, the stores are all sold out. The bad news seems to put a slight damper on the decorating party but then they notice a nest atop the tree and there are several birds at home. They turn out to be the real stars for the tree. Not much of a story and probably will appeal the most to those who are already Oswald fans. 2003, Simon Spotlight/Simon & Schuster, Ages 2 to 4.
