Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly
Christmas Is Coming! by Claire Masurel, illus. by Marie H. Henry, also a board book, captures a child's anticipation. Juliette and her stuffed animals trim the tree and hang the stockings, but only the animals get to sneak a peek at Santa. (Dec.) Copyright 2001 Cahners Business Information.
School Library Journal
PreS-K--This charming, cheerful translation of Demain c'est Noel (Pastel, 1994) features young Juliette and her entourage of stuffed-animal friends. The simple plot takes readers through the day before Christmas (buying and decorating a tree, making cookies); Christmas Eve (hanging the stocking, bedtime story, the toys witness Santa's visit); and Christmas Day (present opening and sharing). One or two sentences grace each page, enhancing soft watercolor illustrations with festive gold-foil highlights. A wonderful bedtime story that's equally well suited to group sharing.--LF

    adorable

What a great combination of literature and pictures. My 16 month son loves to point out Juliette's different stuffed animals throughout the pages. There is a duck, bunny, bear, dinosaur, and clown. The illustrations almost speak form themselves. Wish this book was a year round book, not just a Christmas book
