I chose this collection for two reason (1) I love Christmas stories (2) Tori Scott wrote the first story and I trust that if she is part of the collection, it is worth reading. I enjoyed the stories but there were a couple that stand out as my favorites. My other favorite was by a new-to-me author E. Ayers. I will be following the Creeds Crossing stories and, I suspect, many more of her books.

The Christmas Wish by Tori Scott is the kind of story that Christmas romances should be. It is warm and hopeful and beautiful. Merry is not a big fan of the secular side of the holiday until she falls into Santa's lap and discovers that the holiday how wonderful holidays, and life, can be.

A Snowy Christmas in Wyoming by E. Ayers is a warm and beautiful modern western of two people with great strength and great hearts. I will admit that when Caroline and Andy first encountered each other, I was turned off by her attitude, but it didn't take long for her nature decency to show through and from then on I rooted for her all the way. Along with her I fell in love with Andy and his adorable daughter and stood indignant at he treatment in the town. I love when someone stands up for the underdog and wins!

Her Christmas Cruise by Mona Risk was a lot of fun, and I have to read the story behind Paige and Ryan's relationship in A Christmas Baby. Stephanie Queen's works are always more than worth a read. Enjoy these and all the other holiday stories and discover the fun for yourself.

I've only read 4 of the 11 stories at this point, but I am loving them.
I don't usually go for the themed books, but a friend read What if...this Christmas and recommended it to me and I loved that. So, when I saw it was also a part of this boxed set I thought I would give some new authors (to me) a chance. It's supposed to snow this weekend, hot cocoa and a little Main Street sound perfect to me.
Since What if...this Christmas was the first story I read I will talk about it here. I did not read the book it's based on, What if... but I don't think it's necessary. Although, I have to say I am intrigued now and will probably buy that one next. Chris reminded me of my husband to a great extent and so it was fun to read. The characters were wonderfully developed for a short. The story was sweet and original, in the sense that the man is the one who wants to get married. No spoilers on what happens, but it made me smile and feel good for a few hours afterwards. Looking forward to reading all of the other stories in the boxed set.

Just what I was looking for to kick start my holiday spirit. Lov

Just what I was looking for to kick start my holiday spirit. Love and Hope are the themes of most of these stories. I couldn't wait to read them all, unfortunately I had to wrap presents and such so it took me time to get through all 11 stories. By far the best Christmas present I bought this year, in terms of value and even better it was for me! LOL

I think my favorites were Kristy Tate's, Kelly Rae's and Tori Scott's of the 11, but they were all good and worth a 4 or 5 on their own! I will be looking for another collection from these ladies and their other books, as soon as the holiday rush is over. Now back to wrapping and baking.

    All but one...

Everything is pretty good except the last story by Pepper Philli, The Christmas Gift. Maybe in another ensemble, but not here. All of the stories prior to this one have you feeling a certain way, enjoying happier feelings. The book by Phillips was out of place. I kept reading it thinking it would fit, that never happend. I almost rated the entire collection a "1" based on the Phillips story, but I did not. I would not read another by this author; even though it is supposed to be a "feel good" story, it's not because it does NOT BELONG with the rest of the stories.
