This is a clean sweet Christian romance with a theme of forgiven

This is a clean sweet Christian romance with a theme of forgiveness. It also addresses the fact that Christians have a past and must deal with the consequences. Justin left Rayne weeks before the wedding with no reason. She feels that she is not ready to hear why he left. I was dying to know... and I did not guess the reason. The book had great secondary characters in Rayne's family Justin's uncle and Camden. Camden needs his own book!!!! His conversations with Justin were sooo funny.

Christmas Rayne is a charming story about friendship, love, forg

Christmas Rayne is a charming story about friendship, love, forgiveness and family. I found this to be a story without a lot of depth to the characters, but yet it was so enjoyable that I could not put it down. A great story to just relax and unwind with, not needing a lot of thought processes to keep the story straight in your mind.
Christmas is Rayne’s favorite time of year. Along with enjoying Christmas, she is also enjoying her friendship, and possible budding romance with Camden. He makes her smile. He makes her giggle. And what a charming gentleman he is. They seem to have all the makings for a wonderful romance.
But, what happens when the haunting past comes at her full force? Justin realizes he made the biggest mistake of his life three years ago when he walked out on her two weeks before their wedding. Now, can he bring himself to tell her why, in hopes that she will forgive him and allow him back into her life? Or, has another man already stolen the heart of the girl he is so desperate to regain?
Rayne has a decision to make. What insight will her visiting parents offer her in hopes of seeing their daughter move past the hurt she has experienced and into the life of her dreams?

Grab a cup of cocoa, or better yet a peppermint mocha, and cozy

Grab a cup of cocoa, or better yet a peppermint mocha, and cozy up in your favorite reading spot. This book is a fabulous story about love, loss, heartache and loneliness, forgiveness and peace. I could not put it down. I hope there is a sequel, because I just cannot get enough of these characters. And even though it is August, I am in the mood to decorate my tree, hang white twinkle lights and sing Christmas Carols. This story will get you in the mood for Christmas and Joy to the World!

Christmas Rayne is about Rayne Adams who runs into an old boyfriend, Justin Thomas, while shopping for a Christmas tree in Colorado. It had been three years since they have last spoken. Can these to overcome the past mistakes to be together again?
This is a wonderfully written short story of romance, love, and forgiveness. Rayne and Justin were fun characters to get to know.
I look forward to reading more by Joi Copeland. She obviously knows what romance is all about. Highly recommended.

This is a sweet novella for those times when you need something

This is a sweet novella for those times when you need something to read on the plane, in the doctor's office, anywhere you need a short book that holds your attention. Grab something to drink, and sit back in a comfortable chair as you enjoy this seasonal love story.

Christmas Rayne was provided to me free of charge by the author for review purposes

Christmas Rayne by Joi Copeland was a joy to read.  I identified

Christmas Rayne by Joi Copeland was a joy to read.  I identified with Rayne and her LOVE of everything Christmas, therefore I loved the setting and especially her descriptions of Rayne’s decorations.

Despite the fact that this is a short story, under 100 pages, I felt that Joi developed her plot and characters well.  I didn’t want to put the book down.  I wanted to keep reading to learn what was going to happen to these characters I was getting to know and enjoy.  I was pleasantly surprised by the various twists and turns she was able to fit into the story line and how they gripped my attention.

I sometimes feel that short stories find a solution to a problem too easily or unrealistically.  That was not the case in Christmas Rayne.  Although due to the length, a quick solution was necessary, it came very naturally and believably.

If you enjoy a good Christmas story, and really, who doesn’t love a Christmas story, then you will love Christmas Rayne.  It is a sweet book that leaves you feeling good and full of hope.  I look forward to reading more by Joi in the future.

(I received a copy of Christmas Rayne for free in exchange for an honest review)

Christmas Rayne makes you want to break out the Christmas decora

Christmas Rayne makes you want to break out the Christmas decorations or sing carols to spread joy. What I loved about this book was how realistic it was. Rayne is heartbroken over Justin's abandonment and is faced with the question of forgiveness. Justin reminds us all that we have a past we have to deal with. I loved how Joi showed both sides of forgiveness, the forgive and forgiver.
