All Music Guide - Rodney Batdorf
Rebecca St. James' Christmas is an enchanting holiday record, highlighting not only her faith, but also her remarkable vocal skills. The album is divided between traditional songs and new material, and while some of the newer material is a little weak, St. James sounds terrific, no matter what song she is singing.

    Ruined a classic!

I`m truly sorry to have to say this because I really enjoyed some of Rebecca St. James' songs, such as "I Thank You", but she totally ruined these beautiful Christmas Carols! These are meant to be calm and peaceful, but she turned them into rock songs! This was HORRIBLE!

    Second Best Holiday CD Ever

At a Summer Jam concert, where various artists performed including RSJ, I bought this CD on an impulse. It was weird, I bought ''Christmas'' in July but never regretted it! I wanted Rebecca to autograph a CD so I just grabbed this because I already had ''God'' and ''Pray'' at home. I didn't expect much from it because of past experience with Christmas CD's, I'd only fallen in love with 'N Sync's. But this was so cool! She has 9 traditional songs and one original of her own. They're all VERY modern, so if you're expecting no percussion and lots of strings expect differently. ''O Holy Night'', ''O Come Emmanuel'', ''Happy Christmas'' and ''O Come All Ye Faithful'' rock. And her song, ''A Cradle Prayer'' is beautiful. I listen to this CD, like, so often. You should get it; you'll love it!
