Ann Heywood Angulo, Ed. D., taught bilingual education in Arizona and Nevada and is a school principal in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is daughter to two teachers, Jared and Gloria Heywood, married to Peter Angulo and has seven children. The author owes much of life’s joys to her family and her students.

This is one of the few children's books starring an Hispanic character! So darling!
