And all through the inn, not a creature was stirring…. Except normally uptight college prof Eve Vaughn and the gorgeous sexy stranger she'd met. They were sharing the most passionate night of their lives together. In the morning Eve would sneak away, determined not to see him again.

Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
Although packaged as a holiday anthology, this historical collection actually consists of two novellas and two teaser chapters for forthcoming books; and while the fragments (Rebecca Paisley's "In a Twinkling" and Stephanie Mittman's "Angels in the Snow") do show some promise, readers expecting four complete romances are bound to be disappointed. Virginia Henley's "Love and Joy" is a bawdy, 17th-century tale with interesting but not always sympathetic characters, while Katherine Kingsley's more gentle "Upon a Midnight Clear" treats a blind heroine who brings out the best in a disillusioned artist. Since there are really only two stories here, librarians may want to pass on this one.
