Tall and proud, Jake Black Raven became Annie's shadow. He'd returned to the ranch only to settle his father's affaris, but he couldn't leave when Annie was still in danger. I had to finish it before I could go to sleep!

Pregnant and widowed, Annie Sandusky went to see Paul Black Raven and saw his disguised killer fleeing the scene of the murder. Almost immediately afterward, even before the ambulance and police arrived on the Tewa land, the oldest son named Jake (of twins) arrived. The sons had not been home in over ten years. The younger brother, Nick, was called home shortly after.

Soon Jake and Nick were dealing with some old and deep family issues, they find out their father was being blackmailed, someone was stalking the ranch house, and the killer was now after Annie! That made things difficult enough without having the unexpected attraction between Jake and Annie.

***** Awesome contemporary romance and thriller in one! (I understand Nick has a story out there somewhere.) Readers will love this story! Recommended reading here! YES! *****
