    Review for Rachel's Book Reviews

    Forensic Mystery
    By Alan Ferguson
Being a coroner's assistant means that Cameryn has seen more gore than your average seventeen-year-old. But even Cammie is shocked when Kyle O'Neil, the most popular guy in school, discovers the gruesome corpse of their English teacher murdered in his own bed. As Cammie gets involved in the case, she finds herself drawn to Kyle, and considers trusting him with the secret that she can't even tell her father. But when their relationship starts to move toward romance, the struggle to solve the case of her teacher's death intensifies. Will Cameryn be too preoccupied to identify the killer in time?
This series is one of the most fantastic books I've ever read. The are fantastic mysteries, they seem average at first, but the end made my pulse race and gave me CHILLS. I made this not-so-mistake, I got the third and fourth late one night, I got home and couldn't sleep so I pick the third up. I finished around 1:30. Oh man. What a whopper of an ending. I sounded like this: "OH MY GOSH!!! AAAHHHHH!!!!!" then I couldn't help but look outside, it was a moonless night, totally dark. I definitely couldn't sleep after that..what was my solution? To pick up the fifth. Okay, so the only problem with this review, is I've never read the first in the series. I thought the second was first. So, I've never read the beginning of Cammie's adventures. It seemed like maybe there was something before it, but I never missed a piece of vital information, so if you want to skip the first one too, go ahead. This is a hall of famer, and a DEFINITE READ IN THE DARK..under a moonless night..when you can't sleep...(I will be picking up the first one as soon as I can)

    Murder Mystery

Seventeen year old, Cameron Mahoney, daughter of the Silverton, Colorados cornrer Patrick Mahoney. Cameron has always been interested in her dad's job. She reads all kinds of forensic books and studys everything you need to know about death and murder. When her father, Patrick, lets Cameron be his assistant she is so happy and can not wait to start working. They then start working on a case. The death of her friend by the killer known as The Christopher Killer. They call him The Christopher Killer because after each death, a medal marked as The Christopher Killer is left. Cameron is very smart but she may not know exactly what she is getting herself into.
This book "The Christopher Killer" is letting people know the likes and dislikes of solviing a murder. It will help people understand what they are going to be doing if they are a corner or a mystery solver. This book also tells people to do what they want to do, just like Cameron when she wanted to be an asistant corner.
I thought this book was very good beacuse it was interesting and kept me on my feet. I wanted to keep reading to see what happens and who the murder was. This book is a series and I will be sure to read the other three books by Alane Fergunson. I liked this book because the main character was a younger girl in high school which helped me relate to the character more. There were many things i liked about this book but i did not like it because it was predictible. When i was in the middle of the book i could already tell what was going to happen. The author could have done a better job by making the mystery harder and the book not so predictible.
If you like mystery books then you should read "the Christopher Killer." I know a few people who have read this book and they love it. They call this their favorite book. Many people can relate to this book and it is an easy fun book to read.
If i had to rate this book out of five stars, i would give three stars. I liked the book, but i have read many better books than this.

When I first heard about book I thought it would be boring. In the first few pages it was, but once you get past the first few pages it was great. Such A Ggood mystery. It had me guessing the whole time. While reading the story you think you've figured it out, but then you are so wrong. It was a fantastic read and i cant wait to read the rest of the series.
