Meet the Author


Dan Abnett is a novelist and award-winning comic book writer. He has written twenty-five novels for Black Library including the acclaimed Gaunt's Ghosts series and the Eisenhorn and Ravenor trilogies, and with Mike Lee, the Hours cycle. His Black Library novel Horus Rising and his Torchwood novel Border Princes (for the BBC) were both bestsellers. He lives and works in Maidstone, Kent.

    Spellbinding and pure adrenaline.

    I don't write many reviews, but the Chronicles of Malus Darkblade deserve a fan mention. The novel is very fast pace and never lets off of the gas. The book is very bloody, so it is not for everyone (i.e. Little Ones), but for those of you who love swords and sorcery this is a book that is a must read.

    Greatest series out there

    I am an avid reader of the warhammer series and this is by far my favorite series. It is a perfect blend of everything that makes Warhammer great. I just wish Abnett and Lee would continue this series in more novels. Great writers, just wish there was more!
