Overview

Introduction

The main purpose of this book is to present a biblical chronology which is as accurate as possible. In addition to detailed discussion, charts are included which show how the chronology is computed from the destruction of the Temple of King Solomon in Jerusalem back to Adam and Eve. The year of approximately 586 B.C. (plus or minus one year) in which the destruction of the Temple of King Solomon in Jerusalem occurred appears to be a year upon which most historians seem to agree. Because this starting-point year is approximate, the other years computed from this year are also approximate (plus or minus one year). With the exception of Chart 4, sources of information relating to each person and event included on the charts are documented on the charts. An Annotated Bibliography of Sources of Information is also included. Because all sources of information may include errors, I make no claim whatever as to the accuracy or validity of the information included in the charts or in this book.
