Following the trend from some of their earlier albums, Dredg continue to rework their sound, relying less on live instrumentation to go for a more production-focused sound. Despite this, Chuckles and Mr. Squeezy does find the band continuing to evolve quite a bit given the short break between albums, giving Dredg fans something to sink their teeth into without the customary three- to four-year gaps that they've become accustomed to.
