About the Author

Scott Bader-Saye received his M.Div from the Yale Divinity School and his Ph.D from Duke University. He is currently assistant professor of theology and religious studies at the University of Scranton in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Argues that the Christian Church needs to recover its political mission to serve as moral beacon to the rest of the world. As this might be perceived as difficult due to the Church's complicity in the Holocaust, the author argues that modern Christian theology needs to reject "supersessionist" ideas that Christians have taken over the Covenant granted to the Israelites in the Old Testament.
