Cincinnati's Incomplete Subway is unorganized and leaves out important information covered in other publications about the subway. It jumps back and forth between railroad history and the subway story, confusing the reader as to what was actually part of the subway system and what was not. The first 40 pages were a struggle to read through, littered with run-on sentences and subjective buzz words such as "would certainly undermine" or "radical shift". This book was just too wordy for my liking.
If you're looking for a good story on the subway, I suggest getting the DVD of the PBS documentary, Cincinnati's Abandoned Subway.
Or this book - Cincinnati Subway: History of Rapid Transit

I live in Cincinnati and have the printed version of this book.
The book has many facts and is very interesting.
I think the author should write a bok about Cincinnati Union Terminal, also know as museum center.
