    A reviewer

If you are an Ennio fan, you will be glad to learn that the cues on this CD include some of his best work. From the initial to the final piece, this is some of the best music arranged and conducted by the maestro. Some of his music for legendary director Sergio Leone are included. The music is beutiful with the added touch of two sopranos who accompany the orchestra on two of those cues. This is the first Morricone CD I ever purchased after hearing his music for the Untouchables and I was very happy I did. I have since gone on to appreciate many of his other works. He is now, due to the death of Jerry Goldsmith, the most prolific movie film score and composer living. His music is purely gorgeous.
