Meet the Author

Jaylynn Tamela Smith is a native of Arizona. Raised by a single mother, Jaylynn was the creative child, often retreating to her room to write poetry and books. She loved to write about the things that she experienced because, as she put it "writing about your own life is the best way to find out how you really feel about a situation. Often you think you may have gotten over something, but as soon as you write it down, you re-live it. The best part about that though is that when you choose to re-live it, you can also choose to re-write it." When her mother passed away in 2007 she was devasted and began re-visiting her books she had written in the past. The circle was the first book she had written in it's entirety and so she published it. Her motto is, "I may not be famous, but I will finally be heard."

this book is great for when your baby is too little to pay attention to much of anything- i would whip out this book and sometimes it would even stop her from crying, and it would at least keep her entertained for a while. great book!
