I would definitely recomment this book! Most of the recipes are very easy to throw together and have few ingredients. For lots of them you may only hvae to purchase the meat.

Easy enough for a teen, tasty enough for me to repeat. On a meeting night I have been known to occaisionally put a cookiesheet with all of the ingredients for the recipie in the fridge with the book and a sticky note. (All teens seem to raid the icebox for a snack or 2) That goes for all of the Gooseberry Patch cookbooks.

Gooseberry recipes are always easy and well put together. No pictures but it was free and I usually enjoy the recipes any way.

OMG! I litteraly made almost every recipe in this book. It is a great tool to use for making sweet, spicy, and sour chili. It has great ideas, not to mention that it was free. I give it 5 stars! Thanks! --bookreader10--

The recipes look good, like something my husband might enjoy. I have a small problem though, it has NO table of contents and no way to bookmark your favorite recipes. so you have to guess and search for what you think you may want to make and then hope and pray the recipe is in the book. I know the e book is inexpensive, however... a table of contents would have been GREAT

There a many varieties of chili recipes in this book... most I would consider a soup instead of chili. I am from Texas after all! None have nutrition information which I need. It also calls for ingredients I cannot use; such as white flour, cream of soups, canned chili beans (yuck), rice which I assume they mean white rice, sugar, canned tomato soup, pasta, packaged onion soup... to name a few. If you are looking for quick easy recipes and ingredients do not matter for health issues then this will work for you. I would not get it again.

I like the recipes. I enjoy most all of the Gooseberry Patch cookbooks. I miss the tips that are listed in the paper form editions, which are lacking in the Nook Book editions.
