    SciFi At Its Best!

I hurried to by this book as soon as soon as it was released. The story was exactly what I was looking for, high entertainment and pure unadulterated fun! For those familiar with the Jenetta Carver series, this new series also takes place in the Galaxy Unknown universe.

The character development and creative world building were continually engrossing, I just could not put this book down. I greedily gobbled up every morsel of the story but was disappointed once I reached the last page, solely because the story was so enjoyable, I wished this book would never end!

There was a perfect symmetry between action and adventure, moreover the battle tactics were interesting and clever. The protagonist was very likeable and all around brilliant.

I highly recommend this book and the Jenetta Carver series to fellow SF readers and I can’t for the next book in this series; in addition, I also look forward to the next Jenetta Carver book due out December 2012.

To fellow dark urban fantasy readers who are looking for a good space opera but do not want to end up with a space romance, I also recommend these books to you. I also recommend Evan Currie - On Silver Wings (B&N doesn't carry this novel).

    Best yet

OK, I think I finished everything DePrima had done... My only question is when is he writing more?

Great book, same universe, but not a Jenetta Carver book

I have enjoyed reading every book in the Jenetta Carver series so I just grabbed this one up when I saw it. I was surprised that this was the start of a new series within that same universe. I had a high comfort level with the background of this story universe but these characters were new to me as they would be to all. However, it did not take long for me to begin to enjoy this book, and these characters, as I have all of Thomas DePrima's work that I have read. And now that I have finished this book I am anxious to obtain the sequel -- and more. I think readers will enjoy this book more if they know the background from the Jenetta Carver stories but that is not necessary to still have a fine read with this book as a first time reader of Mr. DePrima.

    DePrima Strikes Again

This is yet another example of great space opera from DePrima. His characters jump off the page and are tasked with seemingly impossible challenges that somehow happen. I look forward to his next book!

    Great read

DePrima has created a new heroine to rival Jenetta Carver. Citizen X follows his previous series with another winner. I have read everything he has on Nook and enjoyed every one. I'm waiting for the sequel to Citizen X.

    You must read this!

A second series in the JennetteCarved universe, I am in love. Which heroine do I like more? Tough decision to make. Will have to read more books to decide. When does the next one come out???!!!
