Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
These four novels, initially released in 1947, 1948, 1985, and 1962, respectively, run a wide path through Wouk's career, including his first novel, Aurora Dawn. Unlike his usual fare, several of these are comical in nature while capturing the human element with literary verve. Copyright 2004 Reed Business Information.

Basically Tom Sawyer, if Tom Sawyer were a fat Jewish kid from the Bronx.  Great book.
