This book would be so much better if the author would just finish the story instead of trying to milk one more book out of it. Would someone save me from the neverending series with the same characters trying to get to happy ending. This author certainly is not a bad writer so I am not sure why the never ending story--not to mentioned that when you read book #4 it is no beeter that a short story that she could have just been a part of book 3 and really have a good bookWas this review helpful? First off I want to say a HUGE thank you to Serena for giving me the opportunity to read all of her books so far including this one as a ARC copy :)
I have followed this series since the beginning and following, the ups and downs that occur with Sophie and David.
This is another short novella type story, but is mostly written in David's POV!! YESSSSS!
Finally we can see and feel what he feels, we can get a glimpse into what is actually going on inside that DUMB head if his!
At certain points in this book I just wanted to be transported into the story and kick ten balls of CRAP out of Mr Preston!
Urgh he can get soooo big headed when he wants to, and to think he can treat Sophie like the way he does and manipulate her feelings, her thoughts in the process, is beyond me!
Seriously. Total Love/Hate relationship going on here!
We get a slight understanding on the childhood, or shall I say lack of childhood that David got when he was younger, maybe this is why he's the way he is?
Who knows what goes through the male species minds??
Anyway I can honestly say, this book is my favourite so far in this series, yes i know we go over the same goings on , but we get a better insight into what's actually going on!
I can't wait for the 4th and FINAL instalment!

I received an ARC from the author for my honest review, so here it is. I love this story, Sophie and David are made for each other. I hope David would realize it before he does something else stupid. We get David's POV in this on and it really helps you understand sort of why he did what he did. But will he lose Sophie because he is afraid to love her? He has been hurt by love many times and doesn't believe it is worth losing his heart and soul to keep Sophie. Will she let him go for good or will she help him see the truth of what love can do for him? Will Sophie let him help her go to art school or will she break away clean? How can she, she loves him too much. This is a quick read and worth it, but if you have read this series, please start at the beginning. Because you will be lost and confused if you start with this one. A Dangerous Man series includes Awakening, Rebellion, Claim, and not out yet Surrender. Great job Serena Grey, looking forward to reading more from you!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

I decided to give this book of the series 5 stars because I got to learn more about David, got to feel his pain from his past, and got to see
how he had already started to care for Sophia the first night they were together, it wasn't just the sex, there was more there but he didn't
recognize it yet. I am thrilled that I got to see the real David, I disliked him so much in the last book and it was great getting to hear how
he was feeling, why he was doing certain things, why he couldnt spend alot of time with Sophia at first, and most of all I was thrilled to
read that he hated Carole kissing him but he was trying to get away without pushing her due to where they were. I loved how he stood up
for Sophia when Carole put her down. Something that still bothers me in this book that bothered me in the last book is that David cares
about her so much but he struggles with love because of his mother and his past, why not tell Sophia and let her decide if this is enough
for now until he can see that love can be different, give it a little time. I also am still angry that Sophia jumps so quickly to believe the witch
Carole, that anger has carried over from the last book into this one. It is funny because now that I know what David has been feeling and
thinking this whole time I am angry with Sophia for leaving him, yes I know she doesn't know how he feels but when something happens
close to the end of the story she should be able to tell how much he cares but she is overreacting, not even trying to get to the bottom of
why he is saying one thing but his actions say another, instead she just wants to pout. I don't know, now I am ending this book angry with
her and I ended the last book angry with him lol. I will say that I feel like I am at the same spot I was when I finished the last book, still not
knowing what is going to happen with David and Sophia, and still not getting to enjoy them spending real time together as a married
couple without all the drama, I wish we could have move along a little with the storyline, not ended on a sad note again. So now how long
will I have to wait for the final book? I do love this series and hope that others will want to read it, it is an emotional roller coaster ride.
