Short, steamy romance...approximately 220 pages. Recommend it if you like the paranormal!

I loved this story. Crossing lines or species always makes a story intriguing to me because it's usually forbidden by the packs/prides. Brings to kind the dark series by Christina Feehan.

Great Series! This is a great series! This is the second book in the Crescent Moon Series by Savannah Stuart aka Katie Reus.  This book is a novella and is around 90 pages, it is a great book and you can read it in one sitting.  Lauren is a jaguar shifter, she breaks into an alpha’s home to steal back what belongs to her but is stopped by the sexy wolf shifter Max. Max is the second in command to the wolf pack, he has known that the sexy jaguar Lauren is his mate for months but has waited to make his move. Now that he caught her he is not letting her go, so he makes a deal with her to stay with him for a week. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.  A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review** Lauren Hayes was a 25yr old jaguar shifter. She was sneaking into Grant Kincade's wolf pack area in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Grant was the alpha of the Kincade wolf pack. He was 200 years old and on his honeymoon. Lauren's cousin Tommy was a thief. When she was 12 he taught her a lot. Lauren's sister Stacy was getting married soon and Grant's wolf pack had an heirloom locket that belonged to Lauren's Pride. Max McCray was second in command and was in charge while Grant was away. Lauren could mask her scent, which was unusual, but only mates are able to scent their true scent. Max caught Lauren breaking into his alpha's house, and things moved quickly from there. It was a pretty good story, although pretty short in length. I would still recommend it.

Claiming His Mate (Crescent Moon #2) by Savannah Stuart Jaguar shifter Lauren Hayes breaks into the house of the Alpha of the Kincaid wolf pack to steal back a family heirloom.  She is caught by Beta, Max McCray.  Her punishment to stay with him for the following week, in return he will give her the broach; neglecting to mention she was his mate. I flew through the story starting at page one.  It flows well and was fun to read. Max is a great character.  He is very Alpha and determined.  I appreciated that he is open-minded and fair.  I also, like that he doesn’t care that  Lauren is a jaguar.   Lauren is a worthy character.  She is selfless and honorable.  I like that she went after the family heirloom for her sister and not herself.  She likes to help others and follows her feelings. Claiming His Mate is an entertaining short story that has an appealing plot.  There are multiple surprises and interesting twists.  This was the first book I read in the Crescent Moon series.  I am definitely interested in reading the other books in the series after finishing this book. Complimentary copy provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!! ***I bought this back in 2013, and then saw it on Netgalley and requested it before I realized that I owned it already as well as book 1 :) The cover is another sexy man chest :) I like it :) I think this book had more action than the first one which is definitely more to my liking :) I really liked both Lauren and Max as characters especially when they were telling each other how it is. Lauren owns up to her mistakes, and she is always willing to jump in and help. She doesn’t look down her nose at the wolves. Max is a great 2nd, and he doesn’t have any problems with the jaguars. I easily was pulled into the story and connected with the characters. I hope to see more of the characters as the series goes on :) I do not like giving away any part of the story, so know there is more action, drama, and mystery to keep you engaged in reading this story :) I really like Savannah’s (Katie’s) writing style, and I think the more I read the better it gets. I think anytime you start reading a new author, you have to get used to their style before you really connect, and it also has to do with your mood when you read it. I truly believe that I have read books and thought it was okay, and a few years later read it and thought the same exact book was fantastic. So always remember, these are my feelings and opinions today :) I recommend this book and series to anyone who enjoys reading shifter books :) Time to go read something new :)

A short steamy read. Lauren breaks into the Kincaid Alpha Wolf’s house to steal back what belongs to her pride. When she is caught by Max McCray and he demands she stay with him for a week, she knows she is in trouble. The story kept me entertained throughout and the chemistry between Lauren and Max is hot. I loved it!

Cats and Dogs, Jaguars and Wolves same thing right?  We met Max in Taming the Alpha (Crescent Moon #1) as Grants second.  Max is an okay guy but has been having a hard time finding the time to find his mate (a jaguar of all things)  First he had admit to himself that she was indeed the on for him and then his mother was killed and he has to go after the vampires that killed her and then he had to recover from that.  Then Grant and Talia get married and go on honeymoon so he is in charge so he can’t go after his little cat so imagine his surprise when he catches her breaking into Grants house to steal something.  This is a sexy fun cats and dogs read.

I discovered this series when the third book, Tempting His Mate, was released.  I'm a little OCD about not starting at the beginning so I ordered all three at once and ended up reading one per day.  Even though these books can be read as stand alone the characters from the previous book do interact with one another.  I was hooked within the first few pages.  The story is well written, the chemistry between Max and Lauren is fantastic.  Max is the second in command of his werewolf pack.  He met Lauren, a jaguar shifter, 6 months before and hasn't been able to get her out of his system.  Max is in charge while his alpha is away on his honeymoon and when he catches Lauren breaking into his alphas home he devises a plan to keep her close to get to know her better.  Lauren surprises him with different nice gestures.  When she is accused of stealing and attacking one of his pack members Max has to investigate the situation.  There are twists and turns that surprised me.  Let me just say that I didn't pick out the real culprit.  Happy Reading!

This was a quick, steamy love story between a jaguar shifter and a wolf shifter. It was romantic and had no love triangles which i appreciated because i hate them. If you like paranormal romance, you will like this one. Not for under 18. Phyl p

This morning I finished Claiming His Mate by Savannah Stuart. Since this is a novella I'm not going to go into too much detail about the story. The most important things you need to remember are Lauren Hayes is jaguar shifter and Max McCray is a wolf. Yep, these two shouldn't really be together, but when nature calls it's kind to hard to ignore. Anyways, they are both drawn to each other. I actually thought Lauren was pretty cool, because she's able to mask her scent. The only person who can find her is her mate when she masks it. Max is pretty hot and isn't going to stop at nothing until he has Lauren's scent around him all the time. Actually I liked this story. It was pretty good read. So, if you are looking for a paranormal read that's quick, I would suggest taking a look at Claiming His Mate.

This was a erotic short story. I enjoyed this book but not my favorite out of the two books. It somewhat dragged for me and didn't have the emotion that Taming The Alpha had

This wasn't the best werewolf romance book I've read. The story line seemed rushed with little to no plot development. I did not even bother pursuing the series further.
