Sewers will be able to complete these fashions on the level most suited to their expertise, as directions may be followed using either commercial patterns or custom-fitted ``slopers'' (instructions included). This finely detailed collection of clothing projects covers fabric selection, styling, smocking, drafting, embroideryand even the relationship between vertebrae and fitting armholes. While there are twice as many designs for girls, the boys' items are basics and can be varied repeatedly for a new look. All the layout, cutting, and sewing instructions can be followed without harming the book and the classic designs will always be stylish. Highly recommended.
