These inexpensive leatherbound editions are Barnes & Noble exclusives, only available in our stores and on our website. Each of these novels is by any standard a classic; from Oscar Wilde's ominous The Picture of Dorian Gray and Bram Stoker's eerie Dracula to the strange human mysteries of Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights and the nuanced social satire of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Attractively bound and exquisitely readable, these Barnes & Noble Bargain deluxe classics boast a price less than many, if not most paperbacks. Frugal shoppers can fetch even greater savings by purchasing the handsome boxed set, containing all six leatherbound hardcovers for just $70.00! Arguably the best buy of the month.
I really love these new stand alone titles that have been added to the leatherbound series. They remind me of the very old cloth titles (yes, bibiophile, here) that I have at home of some single classic works, but are refreshing in the leatherbound presentation. Books like this for this price are unheard of, and to have something this lovely to add to my library is wonderful. I already enjoy their larger collected works books very much, and look forward to adding more of these single titles to my collection. Hopefully they will continue to expand the series!

These book covers were designed by Jessica Hische. Look her up. She is an unbelievable young artist and will be one of the greatest in history. Buy the books to read, sure, but buy them for the design also because these will be an important part of art history someday as one of the earlier works of a design great, make no mistake.

The others are large and have gold-leaf pages. These are a smaller format and the page edges are dyed to compliment the cover. To be honest, I actually prefer these over the rest of the series. They fit better in your hand and the cover designs are cleaner.

I'm a classic fiction/classic film fan and received this gift set for Christmas. It was my favorite gift! These books are not only classics but are crafted so beautifully as well. The leather binding and satin ribbon bookmarks are magical and I would recommend this product to anyone!!! I can't wait to collect them all.
