Overview

Extensively field-tested and fine-tuned over many years, and designed specifically for a one-year course, JC McKeown's Classical Latin: An Introductory Course offers a thorough, fascinating, and playful grounding in Latin that combines the traditional grammatical method with the reading approach.

In addition to grammar, paradigms, and readings, each chapter includes a variety of extraordinarily well-crafted exercises that reinforce the grammar and morphology while encouraging the joy of linguistic and cultural discovery.

good book, lots of tech problems

I was really excited to buy this book because it was the first time I've had a class that actually had an ebook available. I assumed that since it said "NOOK study". i could put it on my nook that I bought specifically for school. I have done EVERYTHING, but haven't been able to get it on there. So I have been using the nook study app to view it as a lap top, BUT the book freezes a lot and sometimes the search feature freezes, so it is almost impossible to use in class when I need to be quickly flipping through pages. Overall, it is a nightmare.

As far as the content of the book, I think it is really helpful (although I haven't really been able to sit down and use it remotely), but what I have seen seems to be easy to understand and well laid out.

All in all, I wish I had purchased the physical text.
