A massive three-disc collection of soothing classical music, Madacy's Classics for Relaxation features performances of well-known pieces by a variety of orchestras. Highlights from the first disc include Liszt's "Liebestraum No. 3 in A flat major," Grieg's "Peer Gynt Suite No. 1, Op. 46," and Debussy's "Suite Bergamasque III: Clair de Lune." The second disc features Albéniz's "Suite Española, Op. 47 Sevilla," Bartholdy's "Songs Without Words for Piano, Book 2, Op. 30, No. 6 in F sharp minor," and Haydn's "Divertimento No. 1 in B flat major, 2nd Movement." Finally, the third disc counts Gounod's "Faust Margarethe -- Ballet Music, Allegretto," Satie's "Gymnopedies No. 3," and Chopin's "Waltz in A flat major, Op. 69/1" among its standout moments. Even though the collection is a bit lacking in originality, it still offers plenty of sophisticated music for relaxing, studying, or any other quiet activities.
