Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
This activity kit comes with an instruction book, four blocks of modeling clay and a plastic Pooh clay cutter (looks like a cookie cutter). The book explains how to mix the clay to create a variety of colors and it also gives directions, all clearly illustrated, for the creation of a variety of items. All of the items--a bee, beehive, ant, picnic basket, owl, and piglet--do not appear to be difficult, but the amount of clay provided is minimal. The clay supply would need to be significantly supplemented if kids were to create all of the items. Good fun for a day spent indoors.
