Claymore is one of the few series where I have started getting both the anime, and manga. I picked up the anime first, then I started to get the manga shortly there after. Needless to say, I wasn't disapointed. With plenty of monster fighting action, there's a good story going on too, mainly involving the Claymore Claire, and her human companion Raki. I definitely recommed this for any manga reader who's into supernatural monsters w/ good action and story line, then this definitely worth reading.

Volume 14 gives the two new side characters Clarice and Miata some major scene time. While searching for the organizations former number 3 Galatea they come across an Awakened Being. While its nice to see these two in some real action we don't get to see the real main character Clare and the other members of the Pieta survivors until the end of the volume. However you do get two more side stories featuring flashbacks of Clare in "Claymore school" and how Priscilla met Isley.

I really love this story. You don't actually hear anything about Raki in this book which wasz the one disappointment. It does advance the plot line by quite a bit however. There's also two bonus stories, one of which is how Isley met Priscilla. You also find out what happened to Galatea.
