Including special, separate sections for men and women, Clean Body has ideas for everything from facial exfoliants and natural aftershave to moisturizers and creams for itchy skin, discolored knees, and smooth feet. EVERY part of the body, from head to toe, is covered.

    Amazing, a must have!

I have developed so many skin allergies in the last few years and it seems like every shampoo, soap and lotion make my skin irritated, itchy and red. This book has really helped me a lot. My skin is so much happier and my hair has never been healthier! The ingredients are so inexpensive and I'm saving so much money cleaning naturally.

    I Also Recommend:

What a bill of goods we've been sold by Madison Avenue for so long!

Reading De Jong's second book, a companion to his household cleaning book further illustrates just how much all of us, from the most naive to the most eco-savvy, have bought into over the past 50 years of Madison Avenue brainwashing us about "new and improved," "anti-bacterial," "safe," "non-toxic," and yes, even "green" messaging that is superficial at best and lying at worst. Rachel Carson saw it coming in the 1950s and we didn't heed her warnings back then, and now De Jong has taken the scientific clap-trap we've been spoon-fed by corporate giants merely green-washing themselves in the hopes of exploiting a new public's sincere demand for truth and transparency in the products we buy and use on ourselves, our children, our pets, etc. And he's not selling or promoting anything--just safe and familiar ingredients that would be found in almost every home in the U.S. He breaks it all down to what is really simple, safe, pure, non-polluting, and eco-effective for us to use through myth-busting, humor, and a common sense approach that ever-growing demand for true sustainable living has brought to the marketplace. Kudos to both De Jong and Sterling (who have created their first sustainably printed books for his My Kind of Clean Series--they should be acknowledged and applauded for their efforts, and in their other attempts to walk-the-walk in today's risky publishing environment!)
