What keeps you from thinking clearly?

Do you sometimes feel tired or drained of energy for no apparent reason? Have you ever felt wooden or lifeless? Do you feel less alert and aware than you used to?

The truth is, our world is swimming in toxic substances that destroy life. Extensive studies show that pollutants, drugs and chemical residues remain in a person's body. These can dull the senses, cloud up thinking and even cause a wide range of illnesses. And worse, they block any stable advancement in mental or spiritual well-being.

There is a solution. In Clear Body Clear Mind, L. Ron Hubbard details his monumental breakthroughs and the resulting Purification program the only effective program that eliminates the devastating effects of drugs and toxins. Hundreds of thousands have done this program and lived happier, more perceptive and aware lives.

Editorial Reviews

Publishers Weekly
"The planet has hit a barrier which prevents any widespread social progress drugs and other biochemical substances," warns L. Ron Hubbard in Clear Body Clear Mind: The Effective Purification Program (originally published in 1990). Hubbard outline a detoxification program aimed at eliminating the build-up of destructive chemicals in the body (including narcotics, prescription drugs, pesticides and preservatives). The program stresses exercises, sauna visits, vitamin supplements and plenty of water and fresh vegetables. The book also includes testimony from people who've successfully completed the program. Library Journal
The late founder of the Church of Scientology and author of phenomenal best seller Dianetics (Bridge, 1950) created the detoxification regimen of running, saunas, natural oils, and specific vitamins and minerals that is clearly presented in this book. Included in the book are numerous testimonies from people who used this regimen to recover from substance abuse, radiation illness, Agent Orange-related diseases, and more. Still, readers should know that Hubbard's advocacy of megavitamins to detoxify the body has not been medically proven and is considered a controversial regimen by the regular medical community. Notwithstanding the footnoting (of common as well as technical terms--meant to promote accessibility but maddening to literate readers), a ``bibliography'' consisting of items available from Bridge (the official Church publisher), and a biographical note which virtually canonizes Hubbard, this title would be appropriate for large general-audience collections with subject demand in alternative therapies or Scientology.-- Judith Eannarino, George Wash ington Univ. Meet the Author

L. Ron Hubbard

There are only two tests of a life well lived L. Ron Hubbard once remarked: Did one do as one intended? And were people glad one lived? In testament to the first stands the full body of his life’s work, including some 12,000 writings and 3,000 tape-recorded lectures of Dianetics and Scientology.   In evidence of the second are the hundreds of millions of individuals whose lives have been demonstrably bettered because he lived. They are the more than 28 million students now reading superlatively owing to L. Ron Hubbard’s educational discoveries; they are the millions of men and women freed from substance abuse through L. Ron Hubbard’s breakthroughs in drug rehabilitation; they are the near 100 million who have been touched by his nonreligious moral code: and they are the many millions more who hold his work to be the spiritual cornerstone of their lives.

Although best known for Dianetics and Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard cannot be so simply categorized. If nothing else, his life was too varied, his influence too broad. There are tribesmen in Southern Africa, for example, who know nothing of Dianetics and Scientology, but they know L. Ron Hubbard the educator.  Likewise, there are factory workers in Albania who know him only for his administrative discoveries; children in China who know him only as the author of their moral code, and readers in dozens of languages who know him only for his novels. So, no, L. Ron Hubbard is not an easy man to categorize and certainly does not fit popular misconceptions of “religious founder” as an aloof and contemplative figure. Yet the more one comes to know this man and his achievements, the more one comes to realize he was precisely the sort of person to have brought us Scientology, the only major religion to have been founded in the twentieth century.

What Scientology offers is likewise what one would expect of a man such as  L. Ron Hubbard. For not only does it provide a fully unique approach to our most fundamental questions—Who are we? From where did we come and what is our destiny? But it further provides an equally unique technology for greater spiritual awareness. So how would we expect to characterize the founder of such a religion? Clearly, he would have to be larger than life, attracted to people, liked by people, dynamic, charismatic and immensely capable in a dozen fields—all exactly L. Ron Hubbard.

The fact is, if Mr. Hubbard had stopped after only one of his many accomplishments he would still be celebrated today. For example, with 46 million works of fiction in circulation, including such monumental bestsellers as Battlefield Earth, Fear and the Mission Earth series, Mr. Hubbard is unquestionably one of the most acclaimed and widely read authors of all time. His novels have earned some of the world’s most prestigious literary awards, and he has very genuinely been described as “one of the most prolific and influential writers of the twentieth century.”

His earlier accomplishments are similarly impressive. As a barnstorming aviator through the 1930s he was known as “Flash” and broke local records for sustained glider flight. As a leader of expeditions, he is credited with conducting the first complete Puerto Rican mineralogical survey under United States protectorship and his navigational annotations still influence the maritime guides for British Columbia. His experimentation with early radio direction finding further became the basis for the Long Range Navigational system (Loran). And, as a lifelong photographer, his works have been displayed in galleries on two continents, with the definitive body of his photographs in traveling and permanent exhibits still drawing tens of thousands every year.

Among other avenues of research, Mr. Hubbard developed and codified an administrative technology that is utilized by more than 200,000 organizations worldwide, including multinational corporations, charitable bodies, political parties, schools, youth clubs and every imaginable small business. Likewise Mr. Hubbard’s internationally acclaimed educational methods are utilized by more than a hundred thousand educators, while his equally acclaimed drug rehabilitation program has proven at least five times more effective than similarly aimed programs.

Yet, however impressive these figures, no measure of L. Ron Hubbard is complete without some appreciation of what became his life’s work: Dianetics and Scientology.  The world’s most effective force for positive change, the Church of Scientology represents spiritual freedom for millions of people the world over. They come from every walk of life, every culture and every strata of society. Moreover, when one is speaking of L. Ron Hubbard’s discoveries relating to the human mind and spirit, one is ultimately speaking of the philosophic foundation of all he accomplished: better education, crime-free cities, drug-free campuses, stable and ethical organizations and cultural revitalization through the arts—all this and more is made possible because of the breakthroughs in Dianetics and Scientology.

I have been a doctor for 17 years and have worked extensively in the field of nutrition. 'Clear Body, Clear Mind', by L. Ron Hubbard is an excellent book which addresses the reasons behind many of the major symptoms people suffer from today - fatigue, loss of mental clarity, poor memory, emotional mood swings, etc. The technique has been well proven scientifically and I have personally witnessed its benefits in detoxifying (removing poisons from) the body. This is a must read for anyone who has taken a lot of medications (either prescribed or recreational), drunk alcohol, been subjected to pollution, chemicals, or smoke. The negative effects that such substances may be having on your body and mind can be eliminated through the Purification Rundown which is described in this book. I highly recommend 'Clear Body, Clear Mind'.

It is crucial to get a 2002 or 1990 edition of this book. The newer editions lack crucial information. It is important to do this protocol properly and to have your questions answered along the way. There is a useful Facebook group that helps people with this protocol. Search Facebook for Sauna Detox with Niacin. This protocol is amazing!

For 20 years I did a lot of street drugs. I mean lots. I gave up when I was 30. I’m now 35. I thought that it was all out of my system but when I read this book I was informed otherwise. Skeptical, I approached the Brisbane centre and enquired. A couple of weeks later I had completed the program and low and behold I feel like a new man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had no idea of the fog I was in. Now that I’ve flushed out the crap I can now see it. You have to do this. Seriously.

The toxins, drugs, pollution, food preservatives… are making us dull. This book explains how to detox from them and get it into better shape. Highly recommended reading the book and doing the program.

I have done the program that is outlined in this book. Basically, due to years of drug use, I had lost my ability to feel emotion. I felt nothing at all for a long time. Things that used to excite me no longer did. I couldn't even get as upset as I used to. After doing this program, I completely regained my ability to feel emotion. The feeling is amazing. Something that I thought I had lost forever, I was able to regain with this program. Anyone who feels that drugs have affected them negatively needs to read the book and do the program. It really does reverse the damage.

The method to be "clear" is to jog, to spend quite long time in a sauna, and take huge amount of vitamins. Mr. Hubbard says that it makes the toxins in your fatty cell get out of the body with sweat. That has no scientific clue. Besides, it will make you sick (or even kills you) from dehydration, heat attack and vitamin overdose. Just stop taking recreational drug, eat healthy and do regular exercise instead practicing this method. Don't be brainwashed!
