The Cleveland Clinic Guide to Heart Failure is great. Uplifting, helps answer questions, lets you know you're not alone.

This has answered many questions for me. I have MD and Heart Failure and have had trouble distinguish which health problems have been due to which diagnosis. It took 18 years for docs to finally diagnose my MD, since many heart problems also exist. Twenty years ago I had bypass surgery, then five years ago I had Pacemaker put in and a month ago I had a stent put in. Currently I'm doing very well, no chest pain, no taking nitro at 2:30 a.m. but still having muscle problems. I use a walker in my apartment and a power wheel chair when I go out so I can get around depending on access to bus for powerchair/car with a lift seat to get me up to walk outside short distances with my walker.

I would recommend this book to anyone with heart problems because he answers many questions. There may not be anything that can be done to change your physical limitations but just knowing what's happening helps me cope.
