Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
Clifford, the Big Red Dog, who belonging to Emily Elizabeth, is featured in this board book. There is no real story, just a series of scenes showing what a big heart Clifford has. He shares his ball with the kids in the park. He shares his bench, which really is a stretch because Clifford could never sit on the bench because it is too small. Suddenly we see Clifford sharing his water bowl with the birds (there is no explanation as to how the bowl got to the park). The final spread shows a big picnic with kids sharing their food with Clifford. This board book features a padded cover and follows the traditional "Clifford" style. A purchase appropriate for diehard fans only. Reviewer: Marilyn Courtot
