Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
Emily Elizabeth and her neighbor Tim are going to work with Clifford to do a good deed every day. Unfortunately, their first attempt at collecting leaves ends in a mini disaster with the leaves spread everywhere. While helping a lady paint her fence, Clifford manages to spill paint on her house. The attempted rescue of a kitten is pretty funny and Clifford's attempt to help inflate a tire is also silly as is his method of resolving the mess he created. Clifford does not have much luck with delivering newspapers either—it just seems like all his good deeds turn out wrong. His final attempt when a fire is discovered in a house turns out to be just right and the trio even received a medal from the mayor for their good deeds. It is a funnier story than most and kids who enjoy Clifford will find this book appealing. Reviewer: Marilyn Courtot

Not nearly as engaging or educational as other Clifford books. This one does not hold my 14 month old's attention one bit.
