This is a good summary of a great book. On the topic of human nature, Golding nailed it, which is why Lord of the Flies is such a fascinating book. If you've read the book sometime in the past (like when you were a kid in school) you should read it again. As an adult, you'll relate to it on a whole new level. It's a quick read, so don't just read these Cliffs Notes!

My opinion of Lord of the Fly's

I think that this book is very heard to read for the people who may have reading problems and exspearence hard time's in class. However the book dose prononce a surtion something to help some of the readers out. In my own time I have tryed to get my mother to read it and she was confused about alot of thing's like what the auther was trying to get accross to the reader. I feel that some of this is quite confusing but I try to the best of my ability to get the work done. I feel that is is a shame that the people with reading difaculities have to strugle so hard to understand this book and to get the work done for there teachers if the have to read it for a school teacher.

if your interested in thinking while you read

When you read Lord of the Flies, you will feel a mix of emotion... anger, saddness, helpless, anxiety, and happiness. You can relate this book to real life. It shows you the savage like behavior in the boys, and then you can interpret it into the savage like behavior of mankind today. It shows the changes in life we all go through, and shows how we become ruened with no guidance. An awsome book... I've read it six times.

    An extraordinary book!

this was a confusing book for starters, but became clearer after a while. It was exciting and had many hidden themes. It's a study in violence, and it's about the human mind. Recomended! Maria

    Lord of the Flies Review

Lord of the FLies, is an extremely deep book , the first time when I read it ,it was extremely boring and I thought it was a waste of paper. Then when I reread it for its more symbolic features I found it to be a literary snapshot of not only human society but the coexisting good and evil that is inside us all. For those of you who think it is boring ( like I used to think) well try rereading it and paying attention to what the story stands for.

An interesting book for the people who think!

Lord of the Flies is a great and interesting book that undergoes the depths of human nature and the natural instinct of survival of the fittest. Its boring in the beginning, but it is very exicting and thrilling towards the end. Though, it is a sad book about how terrible human nature is and that evil lurks around everywhere, but I recommend it for everyone to give it a try! You learn a lot by reading!
