    Cliffs Chemistry Solver-Well Done

I bought this for a first year college biological science chemistry course. It was better than my text book ($110) in every way. It was easy to read and there were lots of problems with worked out solutions, then a bunch I had to do myself. I did not find any errors or mispelled words. My teacher liked the book too and told other kids to get it. It saved me in chemistry. I wish it covered more. If there were mistakes in the book they are gone now.

    Bad choice

I recently purchased this book as a refresher in preparation for a Chemistry certification exam and was VERY disappointed. I found 10 mistakes in the first 200 pages, proceeded to stop working out the problems because the book had many calculation errors, and still found 7 more mistakes before I decided to quit using the book all together (around page 300). This book serves the purpose of pointing you in the direction of which topics to look over, but cannot be trusted for accurate information in many cases.
