QUOTABLE QUOTES FROM THE BOOK:

"You can define success as impressing yourself: that you are happy, that you stand by your values, that you feel fulfilled, that you love. Or you can define success as impressing others: that you have fame, status, money and toys, or even the appearance of a happy family."

"When you drive along the road and see the blacktop right in front of you, do you ever notice how many cracks and potholes appear? But look ahead several yards, and the surface looks smooth? ... Put in perspective, all those irritants, all those daily wrinkles, all the potholes and cracks along our path disappear when we look farther down the road."

"They replay the videos of their weddings, not their divorces. Why replay painful memories in the cinema of your mind? Reruns of joy -- repeat. Reruns of pain -- delete."

"Like hamburgers on the grill, teenage girls feel the heat and the pressure to squeeze every last ounce of fat from their bodies. If Claudia Schiffer can look so thin, so must they. If Naomi Campbell can be that slender, they can too. Why not?"

"Every face you meet is a mirror. Shine a smile on someone else's face, and see how your smile reflects back at you. Bask in the glow of your own smile reflected in the joy you bring to others."

Climb Your Stairway to Heaven: The 9 Habits of Maximum Happiness

This book has resonated with myself and many whom I love. I recommend this book very highly because of the excellently communicated message, anecdotes, quotes and most of all wit and humour. It is always by my bedside.

Climb Your Stairway to Heaven: The 9 Habits of Maximum Happiness

The frankness of this author was much appreciated. His witt did not go unnoticed. But more importantly his messgage rang true and clear and helped me put things in perspective and reevaluate my life and the things I do to hinder it. It is so easy to be negative, it is a challenge to be positive and happy ... a battle worth winning I say! I love the drawings and found the quotes very inspiring. Being the kind of person that needs to hear about positivity to be positive, having this book by my bedside and flipping through the pages now and then keeps me on top of my game. Go ahead, make your life a happy one by picking up a copy of this book and applying its message to your life. You will see a difference, I know I did

    This book is fun

This book is fun. Unlike some 'self help' books, it's not a psychology textbook, nor a chat with a therapist, nor a motivational monologue, nor a collection of sweet affirmations. This book is interactive. It's energy. It's fun.
