hometown-gal More than 1 year ago
I was born and raised in Clinton, Ia. This book gave a great insight into the history of Clinton. I could go through it and go yeah, I know exactly were that place is or was. I really had no idea growing up that Clinton had such historical value. I learned alot I didn't know about my hometown. Clinton should be teaching local history in it's schools for the youth. I'm proud to have been raised there. It is a book that anyone who enjoys history should read.
