I would recommend this book for everyone who loves Irish lace. Simple instructions and interesting description of traditions.

Hi all, I live in Ireland and purchased this book last summer. It is the best book on Irish Crochet that is available. Clear insturctions and pictures with a very interesting history including photographs included. A must for any crocheter. I am self taught and would love to have had this book several years ago.

I enjoyed reading about the rich history of Clones Lace Maire Treanor details in her book, as well as utilizing the many patterns she provides (which resulted in my winning a Red Ribbon for an Irish Clones Lace Doily I created). I rate this book as a "must have."
