This was an “eh” read for me. In fact, I read it while waiting for my husband to get out of work last night.
I found Marc to be a really nasty jerk for almost three-quarters of the book – and considering it’s 46 pages long, that’s not saying a whole lot about his redemption time. I enjoyed Chloe as the heroine and would like to know more about her past. Marc? Not so much. He was just a jackass and didn’t deserve her at all.
The story was much too rushed and I was a bit taken aback by the amount of “f-bombs” that were dropped throughout the book. Not that I’m a prude by any means, I just found it rather unnecessary especially in a “blush” novella.
