    Old English

This particular version is in old English, which made it pretty much incomprehensible to me. I finally bought the version edited by William Johnston, which is in contemporary English, but as of this writing is not available for the Nook.

    Wonderful book, archaic language

This is a wonderful book. Underhill's version reviewed here modernizes the spelling but otherwise still feels like Middle English. It has served many well. Modern translations by Ira Progoff and by Carmen Acevedo Butcher make more sense to me.

    One of my Fav's

I found this book by accident several years ago. It quickly became one of my personal favorites, and now i have it on my Nook. Great read challenging the way we perceive the God of the Bible, and prayer.
