    Unfortunately disappointing...

The plot of this book is a little worn but decent enough tkeep me reading. Unfortunately the writing is such that reading becomes quickly unbearable. The writer seems enamored ohis own ability to put words together which means that a probably enjoyable short story turns into a chore of a novel. The characters are one dimensional at their largest depth and so boring that you find yourself rooting against all of them. A very sophmoric effort at a novel. Next time try to remember what Bill Shakespeare said: "Brevity is the soul of wit."

    Compelling Novel

Clouded Rainbow is a story that sneaks up on you, and then grabs you without letting go. Mr. Sturak has created a vivid universe equal to a Gotham City filled with even more vivid characters. We follow our hero, Roger Belkin, on a journey into the unknown and we never leave his side. This is a mix of a romance story and a thriller with even a bit of a gumshoe element as we follow Detective Cleveland. This novel has left me with a lasting impression. This needs to be made into a movie!

The Most Gripping book I've read in a long time!

This book affected me as no other has in a long, long time! The end was just very traumatic, and I felt that somehow I was there! I hope that Jonathan Sturak can at least meet this or top it!

    Pretty good book

This book was pretty good, but it was not a gripping novel that I felt like I had to couldn't put down. The ending was unexpected and a little disappointing.

    Predictable and Boring

This book spent 400 pages telling how someone hunted another person. Very predictable. Slow reading. Extremely disappointed.

    Waste of reading time

Lots of descriptive phrases of rainstorms but no substance otherwise.

    Clouded Rainbow

Started out pretty good, but quickly went downhill. An okay read if you are in to drawn out repetition. Not my favorite nook book. Glad it was free!!!

    Heart Wrenching

This one "sneaks up on you" as said in another review, and keeps you on the edge of your seat. A wonderful love story that makes you root for the lost and devoted couple. It will make you think twice about your loved ones and others around you in your everyday life. This book was well written with the exception of some things repeated a few too many times. Well created characters and a great plot. Would definitely recommend.

    Highly Recommend

Definitely a well written suspense love story. Make you have keep wanting too read, wanting to know what was going to happen next. I can honestly say I didn't expect the ending to end the way it did and for a a story to make me cry at the end even though a sad ending it was also gave a new meaning on the way we live our life and look at the people around us. Great job Jonathan Sturak I look forward to reading your next book.

Too much repetition, ending disappointing. Toward the end pf the book the pages wouldn't "turn". Kept repeating and repeating and repeating. I finally had to go to the last page and read the 3-4 before to finish the book. I may have missed something, but the ending was weak.

    Worth it!!

I really enjoyed this book. I had personal gripes with the way certain things were written (namely sentence structure and the use of 'it was as if...') but I am very happy with this book. The author has great creativity and has found a way to completely string you along until hours go by.

I'll be looking for more books by Sturak.

Enjoyable story with fair character development

The author's forte frolm page 1 is detailed, vivid description. The main characters are fairly developed. It's a cozy thriller lacking gratuitous violence and sex. The plor finale is ovee the top and somenwhat unbelievable
