I purchased this and ended up reading the FREE one from Gutenberg. The B&N EPUB format is really bad. Nearly every other line dropped a single word or two down on a new line and it was too difficult to read. Since it was written in 1920, it's in the public domain so I downloaded it in EPUB from there for free and read that one.
I enjoyed the book and will be getting the rest of her books from Gutenberg as well.

I LOVED this book! It was fun to read a book with feisty female characters that was written during a time when good girls were not necessarily portrayed as strong. Truly a pleasure to read.

Started out promising, but soon became repete with religious preaching. After it became clear that the sole theme was to instill religion into two teenagers, including bible study, church attendance, youth group development, etc., that subject just took over the book and there was no longer any interesting story line. I couldn't get through the book. Couldn't take all that proselytizing.

Overview
The story of Julia Cloud, family drudge, and her rejuvenation, results in an exquisite romance and a cheerful story as heart-satisfying as a fresh-blown rose.
