Sean Quinn and Brendon mix Clubber's Guide to Summer, one of Ministry of Sound's countless double-disc DJ mix albums. The album orients itself toward summer, in particular, what you'd want to listen to during the summer months. What you get isn't so much "summery" as it is standard Ministry of Sound-style dance music circa 2000: lots of 2-step (particularly on the first disc) and trance (particularly on the second), as well as everything in between, including house. A few of the tracks on this mix were huge international hits, notably Artful Dodger's "Movin Too Fast," B15 Project's "Girls Like Us," Green Velvet's "Flash," Josh Wink's "How's Your Evening So Far," and BT's "Dreaming." Though not one of Ministry of Sound's more notable releases, particularly given its Australian orientation, Clubber's Guide to Summer should still engage the label's following. Furthermore, the CD comes with a great booklet, which discusses where to party in Australia during the summer.
