    Must read this book!

This is a great book that will keep you reading to the very end! This book has Nancy Drew,an amateur detective, trying to find a doll that may lead to a unknown fortune. Nancy becomes aquainted with Mrs.Struthers, while trying to retreive her purse at the movie theater. Mrs.Struthers soon trusts Nancy and tells Nancy that her daughter, just before her death, briefly describes a doll which has some mysterious wealth for Mrs.Struthers grandaughter,Rose. Mrs.Struthers also tells Nancy that after her daughters death her gypsy husband,Romano, disapears.Nancy couldn't resist the urge to solve the two mysteries. Will she solve the mystery of The Clue In The Old Album? You just need to read this book!:) Overall I think this was one of Carolyn Keene's best books. Please read this book! Anyone who loves mysteries will love this great book!

    An excellent book

The clue in the old album in a very suspenseful book. As are all of the Nancy Drew mysteries. In this book, Nancy befriends an elderly woman who collcts dolls. She asks Nancy to help her find a doll that her daughter mentioned briefly to her just before her death that may be of some value to her grandaughter Rose. This search involves hostile gypsies, narrow escapes, Nancy going to New York, and many more interesting happenings. This is a great book that anyone who likes Nancy Drew should read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

    It was pretty good...

I enjoyed this book just not as much as other Nancy Drew books. The gypsie thing wasn't very realistic in my opinion and the plot wasn't that strong. Other than that I enjoyed it and I would recommend it to you. (Especially if you love Nancy Drew!)
