I loved reading this book. The mystery got going right away. It was cool how Nancy kept sneaking in to all the parties to bust the robbers. Then, during one of the celebrations, Nancy ends up physically fighting and capturing one of the robbers. Towards the end when Nancy and Bess are kidnapped the climax just about blew up and I had to keep reading to see if they would escape. I highly recommend this book. You really should read it if you haven't already. Take it from the other reviews and their five star ratings.

Amazing! Exciting! Nancy Drew has done it AGAIN. I appreciate Carolyn Kenne so much for introducing these splendid books into the world. 'The clue of the velvet mask' had to be the best. I have wrote other reviews for many other Nancy Drew books on this web-site, and I cannot decide which one I like best! If you read my other reviews, all of them say 'Great! Good!' and 'Wonderful.' This book has to be one of my favorites. BUY IT, BUY IT, BUY IT!!!
