Jaclyn Tatsui D'Arcy was a 17-year old student at Merit Academy when she published this book. She wrote this book after she realized that teens don't have a definitive resource dating book on which to rely. By setting the contemporary teen protocol, D'Arcy hopes to help teens avoid unnecessary drama within their circle of friends.
She has also published "Coolest Braid Designs" and "The Genealogy of Jaclyn Tatsui D'Arcy." A magazine columnist at "Growing Up in Santa Cruz," D'Arcy wrote the "Seen and Heard" column that captures the voice of children and teens. She has published 16 articles for newspapers and she has been featured in over 35 newspaper, radio, and television interviews.
Today, D'Arcy is a senior majoring in Environment, Economics, and Politics at Claremont McKenna College. While in college, she co-authored "Global Climate Change and Natural Resources" and "Ecological Consequences of Global Climate Change."
