This book is very informative, direct and to the point, and easy to understand. The author does not spend a whole page saying what he can say in two sentences. It is truly an instructional manual, such as you would find if you were assembling a piece of furniture: First A, then B, then C, etc. Similary, the chapters are in logical sequence, with plenty of diagrams and illustrations.
Honestly, if you knew nothing about soccer--or, better stated, nothing about youth soccer--this book is a great tool. First-time coaches, follow the author's instructions, you will not go wrong.
