Excellent depiction of early coal mining in an ethnic diverse area. Mr. Williams captures the true sense of the early Welsh miners who basically started coal mining in the Anthracite region of Pennsylvania. This book captures the true sense of coal mining and the dangers these men faced on a daily basis. Well written and keeps your interest all the way through the book. Was this review helpful?
