As Governor, it was rumored that Will Bentley had done business with shadowy people in South America. It had involved providing secret cover for cocaine shipments flown from Colombia to Donaldson Air Field to Topeka. The alleged cocaine operation was never investigated.     Takes you to the edge in the ongoing war on drugs. For fiction it is so real.
