Action and adventure at every turn of the page!

Cocaineros Duel is the first novel by award-winning columnist John J. Gilmore and it¿s jam-packed with action and adventure! Drugs, murder, and international intrigue appear at every turn as we are instantly propelled into the fast-paced world of the Costa Rican drug cartel. From the moment we¿re introduced to Frank Reardon, retired cop from Bridgeport, Connecticut we feel an instant connection to this wounded soul. Reardon is strong, independent and carrying a huge chip on his shoulder. He has quickly become one of my favorite fictional characters of all time. Gilmore creates his characters based on offbeat people he meets in his travels which is why we can so easily identify with them! For Frank Reardon, life in Costa Rica was quiet and uneventful until he became a suspect in a young woman¿s murder! Believed to have known her when he was younger, Frank discovers it¿s a case of mistaken identity and begins a search of his own to find his real friend. With the help of his new friend Eddie, another ex-pat, and his faithful junkyard dog Dutch, together they embark on the most dangerous search and rescue mission of their lives. To make matters worse, they will need to go head-to-head with Costa Rica¿s most dangerous and powerful drug lord in order to call this mission a success. But will Frank and Eddie¿s connections in Washington D.C. get to them before Mendoza¿s men finish them off? Gilmore¿s first novel will leave you wondering how fast you can get your hands on the next book in the series!
