I just turned 40 and thought that must be why my energy level has plumeted, was I ever wrong! I can't believe my energy level, and after only 2 weeks! Not only that, but I also read in the book about a woman who had used it for her sons acne? Well after trying 'everything else' as my 16 year old son said, I gave this a try, what a difference! Within days his face had started clearing, and it has no drying and itchy side effects! I have not yet tried the receipes, I do add it to everything I eat though, but they look simple and delicious!

This book was amazing and so enlightening as to what the FDA is keeping
from society due to, what else, GREED! The government doesn't have
our best interest at heart, just their bottom dollar.
This book has given me so many ways to improve my health, despite all
the lies that they have told us about this amazing, natural, God given
food. I'm even getting compliments on my skin and hair since I have
been using it. I'm now giving this book as Christmas gifts..!

A wonderful, comprehensive, easy to digest book. He supports all of his facts in the references he lists and follows a logical, common sense approach. Having already noticed that I don't feel good after eating alot of soy oil based products, I was amazed and thrilled to find out why my body does not like these oils (especially hydrogenated oils). I have just begun using coconut oil and am already happy with the results on my skin and hair. This is information everyone should have. If you are ready for a nutrition revolution, get this book!

This rating is based on the quality of the Nook book, not the author's content! If you like to use the index, purchase the hard copy! The index in the Nook version of this book has no page number references to accompany the content listed. B&N is supposed to be looking into this (7-14 days from now there should be a solution, or so they say).

I enjoyed reading the information about the benefits of coconut oil & have incorporated its use in my diet & skincare regime. The one thing I didn't like about this book is the unnecessary redundancy of the information. It was over-repeated in chapter after chapter & I found it a bit annoying. But the book is definitely worth a read.

Dr. Fife does an excellent job of presenting a huge amount of information on coconut oil and other fats in a very readable and interesting manner. If you are interested in staying as healthy and well as you can, this book is a must read! He presents facts, not hype. I think this book is an important reference book for those interested in good health and a good home library. Following the recommendations in this book can help change your life. I highly recommend it to those interested in living longer and healthier. I have read another of his books, Oil Pulling Therapy, which I also recommend. It would be an excellent book for discussions.

My husband was dignosed with dementia. He was getting worse and so I heard about this producat and ordered this book. I was very impressed with the woman Doctor's results for her husband. SO I gave it a try. My husband gave me a hard time about putting it in his coffee. I would put a teaspoon in his coffee every day whenever he had coffee. He always uses sugar anyway. He complained about the taste ( Only because he saw me put it in), so he adds the sugar anyway. I also put it on his piece of toast every morning like butter, he also puts his grape jellie on his toast over it. The coconut oil is solid white like crisco, it melts at warm temperature and you can use other ways. BUT he gives me a very hard time. He doesn't like changes and eats the same things the same way everyday. SO he only get's the coconut oil in the morning daily and I have noticed a difference with using it. If it holds him a bit more stable it is very worth it. I buy the jars of coconut oil at Trader Joe's.

This is truly an eye opening book I’ve ready a lot of health books and this book is one of the most interesting. I’ve known switched all my cooking to coconut. If you’re interested in health and nutrition you have to read this book.

Crazy story about all the scheming behind trying to hide what a great break through coconut is. Very helpful for anyone with health issues,
